1 vender sells a front fender gasket set, which includes a gasket that runs along the top of the fender to inner fender. The other vender i use does not sell the same gasket? Whats up with this...does my truck call for this gasket or not?

Some call it an "anti squeak" gasket?. Is that the one youre talking about?

1955-1st series or 1955-2nd series?

1947-1955 inner to outer fender anti-squeak.

If this is what you are referring to, it is not hard to install and will serve as both a dust seal and a sound deadener.

What vendor does not sell this?

Delux..I guess it is anti Sqeak..not sure.
Tclederman..i did not see it in my catalog from Classic.
So LMC sells it and Classic does not...It just confused me why 1 vender would and the other did not....55.2 3/4...The inner fender seals you posted stop at 1954..I did install the inner fender seal that runs along the inner fender to fire wall. Its the seal that runs on top of the fender to inner fender that classic does not advertise, but LMC does advertise it for my 3600.

Mike, don't get ripped! When it comes to these gaskets, i.e., fender, running board, transmission cover, etc., don’t waste your money. After buying one and having a few others given to me I’ve found that all of them were simply cut from roofing paper, you can still see the alignment markings in places on the so called “gaskets”. For the amount paid, I really felt ripped off once again. For the cost of one set of fender gaskets you can buy a 216 sq.ft. roll of 30# Asphalt Saturated Felt, roofing paper from a building supply, for instance I picked up my roll at Maynard’s, it's the same stuff the vendors are selling. It only takes a few minuets to cut any of them out and you will have enough left over to do the next 37 trucks that you plan on restoring.

I agree with Denny. I felt they were a waste of my money.

Another good solution even over asphalt paper gaskets is to use strip caulk made by 3M. It stays plyable. Use it on all you fender joints between bolt holes and such. It will stop squeaks, make a good seal, does not make a mess and stays hidden.
