Waiting to see if the battery takes a charge then I want to load test the battery.
I have checked regular auto batteries and have a load tester, It is a Sun BST 5.
So the question is do you load test a Gel Cell battery different? Thank you, Jeffrey

6v or 12v (not that it matters regarding your question).
If you have an Optima battery, there is a special/required charging procedure for a dead Optimal "gel" wetted-mat battery. Sealed Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM)

Edit to add the charger is made to recharge gel batteries.
