The seller claims that it will fit a 1947 to 1953. Would it fit my 1955 Chevrolet first series 3100 pickup with the standard 235 engine?? If not, can anyone tell me what is different? Thank you. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,298 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,298 | That radiator will fit you 55.1 truck. The difference between the 47-53 trucks and your truck's front end is cosmetic.

I trust the info above regarding the radiator-mounting size/geometry not changing during that time.
However, the 1954 radiator supposedly had a "larger cooling capacity", most likely due to a larger radiator core and "exposed-area"?
