Does anyone know of a quality push-on cab weatherstrip for our trucks? I've got a '61 Apache 10 and want to avoid glue-on weatherstrip if possible. LMC sells a push-on set but I do not trust the weatherstrip they offer, too many horror stories of doors not closing and other problems. Does anyone have any experience with the set GMCPaul's is selling? I've also heard a rumor that 2006 Honda Civic two-door weatherstrip works really well, but can't corroborate this and also am not sure if it will be long enough for the knee-knocker door openings. Any information would greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have used our local independent auto glass guy who had a couple of different sizes of push on stuff. I dont have the brand name of part number but i like the quality and i like the fact that i can remove or adjust. It stays in place well enough. Try your local guy and test fit what he has. I forgot what year Civic ('06 to '11, maybe?) , but can find this online. You don't have to cut it, the circumference of the Honda civic and '65 C10 are coincidently the same. I purchased Honda Civic weatherstripping for my son's '67 pickup. Came from an auto wrecker cheap and was really nice rubber. For a small car, Honda doors are big.

PRP is more expensive than Classic.
Steele does not offer the press-on.
Modelman link of users shows press-on style is good. JAKE, you did not say what vendor you got them from?
GW: I'm betting that all the push-on come from the same factory. So I'm buying the least expensive. Also, can you produce some "horror stories" about push-on or any other?
We see difficulty here from time to time but it's basically an adjustment issue, install issue, or out of spec openings/door curvature due to accident repair, etc.. Not the rubber itself.
