I have a 1948 Chevy truck, 3100, that I have restored to original. I have the original exterior sun visor that I want to install but do not have the brackets. My question is are there only the 2 outside brackets that support the visor or is there a middle bracket as well? I have found repo outside brackets but if anyone has a set of nice original brackets for sale let me know. The visor is a Fulton style.

If you have a split windshield it should have the center brackets. I see them for sale on ebay a lot.

I found the brackets and should have them next week. Next question, is there anywhere I can find installation instructions?

I had a couple of links to mounting instructions but they're dead now. I have a few pics of mine that may help but they're on the other computer. I'll try to remember tomorrow to send you what you need. Are you wanting to know how to mount the center brackets or the dogbone end brackets?

I am in the process of installing my visor. If possible, park beside someone who has the visor already installed. Getting those two "dogbone" brackets screwed to the door jamb in the correct position is very important. Another important step is getting the proper width of the visor, lots of adjustment possibilities on the centre section.
