Hey folks, I just drug this bad boy home. My plan is to do a mild hot rod custom. So I have a couple of questions. First, the VIN is 5VSF-1146. I think that means it's a '52 made in June at the Kansas plant. Am I missing any important info, am I even close? Second, what would the mirrors look like on this beast? Third, any good places to get body patch/replacement panels? Cab corners need a little attention, the fold on the along the bottom inside of the doors are soft, and the left inner fender is missing. I'm guessing the cab corners from a pickup will probably work, right? How about body gaskets? I'll be starting a build thread......sometime in the future (I have to finish getting my daughter's '03 F-150 mild custom Screw back on the road first). Anyway, thanks for your help.

Who couldn't fall for a COE? Welcome. The aftermarket world does not make much of anything for larger trucks, but fortunately a good many 1/2 ton parts will work. Acquiring a parts manual should be high on your "to do" list.

Nice ol COE there. I believe this is the first time, I've seen cab roof clearance lights, on the hood. Lol. My last COE, was number thirty for me. i've been collecting them for 35 yrs. I might have that inner fender you need. Original mirrors will look like this.

Either he had low ceiling/rafters in his garage, or he had to drive through a low overpass?
