After reading all the previous posts about troubles encountered with this, I wasn't looking forward to it. But we got a brake, took only 2 hours and I like the fit. I followed the directions found in previous posts, somewhat. We measured the brace rods in the engine compartment and only had to adjust a quarter inch or so. I used a level on the fenders and radiator support to make sure they were level. We started by putting in the shoulder hex bolts loosely. We then put the spring bolt on. We adjusted the plate from inside the cab. We slowly brought it into alignment. We finally adjusted the hood latch for a real good fit. Maybe it was beginners luck, but I sure was thankful that it turned out to be so easy.
