Hey guys I'm having some trouble. I recently bought a 54 3100 that Iv been doing some work on and I just rebuilt the Rochester carb on it and purchased a glass bowl fuel filter (the one on it was rigged together with some rubber hose.) I'm having two problems though. First is the fitting to connect the filter to the carb. I went to the parts store and I believe both fittings to be a 3/8-24 thread size, but I can't find a fitting to join the two together anywhere. Parts store didn't have it and I'm not having any luck on Amazon either. My 2nd problem is getting the fuel line into the filter. I believe the fuel line fitting to be 1/2"-20, and the inlet for the filter is again 3/8-24. So I need a 1/2-20 female into a 3/8-24 make adapter. Again I'm not having any luck. I know a lot of you guys run the glass bowl filter, so there has to be a source for these fittings! Thank you!
I ran the gas line to the bowl filter and then connected the bowl to the carb with a close nipple. But not in that order. If the previous owner cranked the fitting into the carb too tight. Your going to have to come up with some way to get it to seal.

Can’t begin to tell you how much I hate the name Stovebolt.
