For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2017 Posts: 147 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2017 Posts: 147 | I ordered all new shackles with pins and bushings but was wondering should the bushings really be replaced or would just new pins suffice? They dont look like they are in bad conditions but I am sure they have never been replaced. I ask because the bushings seem like they will be very difficult to remove and replace with new ones.
If they need to be removed and replaced are there any good tricks to get it done?
Thanks, Eric

You can get them out, you might have to get a little medevil on it. 1953 Chevrolet 3100261 cu inch, sm420, 3.55 rear, torque tube still, omaha orange, still 6 volt, RPO green glass, side carrier spare, all done In the DITY GalleryVideo of the 261 running1964 GMC 1000305 Big Block V6, sm420, the next cab off restoration
