Simple question for you pros. I have a 38 half ton. Got a guy selling a rusted out 39. Anyone know what parts are interchangeable. I kneed interior parts. Seat, door parts, fuel tank etc. Thanks in advance.

Not many if any will interchange. Late '36, '37, and '38 all use the same basic parts, very few car parts will fit from any of the three years also. '39 is a slightly bigger cab. Drivetrain, suspension, and steering will swap over.

Thanks for the info. I passed on it for two reasons. 1. He wanted a stupid amount of money for it, and 2. My wife said that if I bought another truck, she’d divorce me.

I presume you are talking about Chevy, not GMC, it is always a good idea to give a thorough description to avoid confusion.
