Wanting to replace the worn shocks. Is there something that will help give a smoother ride?

Thanks

Good morning Danny. It might help if we better understood the question ... How do you define "Smoother ride?" Car like? Or do you just want to stop leaving head-shaped dents in your cab roof ... smile ??

Well being that it is the original shocks, leafs etc etc i'm not sure how much better I can get the "ride" without doing a lot of modifying. As I don't plan on changing nothing but shocks. Are there shocks that are better quality than "stock" but won't break the bank? The shocks I see available are Monroe , Gabreil...

I don't know, but those 2 companies probably manufacture the majority of shocks sold in the US with any brand name on them.
