What would the average cost be to prep your truck for paint?

some folks can have it done for 1000, some spend 10,000, that would make the average about 5,500

how much prep does it need? actual bodywork involved or just surface prep? how good a paint job do you want? how fast is your bodyman? around here it's $65-85 an hour .... yer best bet would be to check a few shops and compare

or you could be like me (cheap so i figured out how to do my own) faults it takes longer in the beginning becasue of trail and error, pros is once you learn saves a lot of money and adds another skill to the drawer. Also pride of saying i done it all myself.
