I just dont have the room/time for setting up a plating operation
I will prep and clean everything, just need the existing layer of zinc to be repaired (nicks, etc)
Not to mention not sure the wife would be happy smelling zinc sulfate or zinc chloride

I don't do electroplating, but years ago at work, we used a product called galvafroid. We used it to do minor repairs on galvanized steel, might be an option.

was looking for someone that is currently electro-plating zinc.
1953, galvafroid is a spray on cold galvanizing componud, just like rustoleums, and a few other. that is last resort. actually looking for electroplating. Thanks for the replys

We never sprayed it on. Came in a gallon can. But it's not electro-plating...
