I pulled my seat frame for clean up and painting. In the center about 8 inches back from the front skirting is a hole in the floor. It looks to be roughly 1/2 inch. Can somebody tell what it is for? I can't find your year rig listed anywhere, but my AD has a hole too, and it's plugged with a small rubber plug....maybe a drain hole in case the cab needed a flush!

It is a 52 1/2 ton. It has a 56 235 motor in it. I suspected that the hole was/is a drain of some sort. I guess from your reply you checked my profile. I have needed to update that for some time. Figure it's a drain plug, probably if the gas tank develops a big leak (the Captain has turned on the NO SMOKING sign!)
I've always thought to Rhinoline under the seat, plug up the hole and use it as a ice cooler!! Keep your buns cool in the hot Texas heat! | | |
