Sometimes the templates are a bit off-size and the glass doesn't fit exactly. Its nice if you have the old glass, but if you don't the glass shop can take care of it. It should be pretty cheap. If you are having a shop install it I would buy it from them. Then if they break it it's their fault.

Also, will I need to buy the rubber gaskets etc. and take to the glass shop with me?

I think a glass shop would have to special order it and you may be able to get a better deal buying it on your own after checking all the different vendors. I don't think it hurst to call some of the local glass shops or national chains for the prices of the glass and install separately, but I would be surprised if they can beat the price for just the glass.

NO SHIPPING and $225 for the glass. They also have Steele brand gasket for $42. You will not beat these prices for this quality and NO SHIP. Call him, he is a nice guy. Call a company and have them come out in mobile unit and put it in for $25-$50. Just get on the phone and find someone that will do it reasonably. Then see if Bob has a "warehouse" near. He used Pilkington? Pick it up yourself and you are good to go. (you can put it in yourself if you want.) The rope trick, KY and three people. Wow, that sounds dirty!!!
