I would like to change them while I have the axles out, but both O'Rielly's and NAPA show seals for HO35 and HO33 as the correct seals. I thought this was an HO52. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy 62Stick, according to my old Victor seal book, the same rear wheel seal was used from 1946 - 62, Victor p/n 49225 which crosses to National 5801, hope that helps. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 436 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 436 | Thanks 3B, that's exactly the information I was looking for.

Both appear to be the same size. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 436 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 436 | Thanks 3B! I was able to get the wheel seals using the National P/N you provided. That was the last piece I needed to complete my rebuild on the rear end.
It took trips to 5 different parts stores to get the wheel seals and I ended up getting 1 seal from the first and 1 from the fifth, buy I got it done. The Tank (my daughter's name for the truck) is back on the road. | | |
