Hello; I am finally back in the shop working on my 52 GMC 9430 one ton. I'm currently looking over the front end steering which I have found some very substantial wear in the steering connecting rod or drag link and also found some severe scoring on the tie rod balls. I see where I can purchase a new connecting rod complete. The question I have is I'm going to need to also replace the linkage balls that seat into the drag link.I'm having a hard time determining which ones will work. I haven't pushed the balls out yet, thought I would do a little research first. Has anyone bought these before and can I use the threaded type rather than the push in type currently on the arms? I can't recall if the crown nuts would interfere with anything as the linkage moved. I tried to post a picture but it looks like my Mac has a different file type for pictures which I'll have to look into.

Hi Mark -- What file format are you trying to upload? I can always add it to our permissions if need be. File formats for attachments are *fairly* universal, so your platform type shouldn't make a difference. The image formats we allow currently are:
.gif .jpg .png
The document formats are:
.txt .doc .docx .pdf .wmv

Hello John; The issue is that I am using a Mac computer which I am having a bear of a time trying to resize the JPG to below 300KB. I have it reduced to below 200 according to the preview screen and yet I can't edit the picture in giving me the size limit fault. Any suggestions? There's probably an APP for resizing pictures. I much rather prefer Windows based PC's for this and other reasons.
Mark, there are several recommendations for resizing listed in the Image Posting Policy shown in the left margin. Good luck.

I feel your pain, I use Android and there is no easy way to resize a pic, I have to download an app. I think even the lowest setting on my tablet is still too large and I don't see a way to do it on my phone.
Windows on a pc was soooo easy to resize pictures.
