A line on the hydraulic throwout bearing came loose, and I suspect brake fluid got to the bearing. My attempts at repacking were fruitless, which makes me wonder; is the bearing now bad, can it be replaced, or is the entire unit now dead? i'm confused. Throwout bearing for trans? They are supposed to have fluid in them. What are you repacking?
