I guess it would make sense for a wrap around windshield on a Task Force. AD flat glass, not so much.

I called a glass shop and they said that if that is the case, then they won't do it. I would like to give it a go myself just because.

They are too worried about distortion and possible shattering from too much heat. If you take it slow and keep the glass cool you should be able to get most of the scratches out. Might get a kittle distortion. If the scratches are in your direct line of sight, I would replace the windshield.

If the glass is already scratched, what do you have to lose?
