I have read the article about rebuilding the Windshield crank and don't want the headache.

Where do you look on Ebay for one and under what search words?

Do you have anyone you recomend to rebuild the unit I have or are their new ones available?

I live about 60 miles SW of Houston, TX and have a 46 Chevy truck!

search chevy truck, then find vintage parts.
Or search your specific year.
