I'm about to pull my shocks off the frame to prepare to sandblast the frame for paint. My question is on my 1949 3800, I've not seen much information on them.
Where can I get rebuild parts What fluid should I use Does anyone know what part numbers are needed for the rubber bushings. Looking to buy them from Steele, but I'm a little confused on part numbers.
On the rear two, the lower arms where they mount to the rear end, the stud spun off each one. Guess I'll be welding new studs back on.
See picture in attachment. If anyone can tell me if it is a single acting or dual acting shock that will be helpful as well.
