Ready to do the bed and wondering how to put in new wood to get under all the flanges. Looks like the only way to do it is to put wood around the edges and inlay the main part of the bed. Is there a book or manual out there to give pointers? Would like some ideas on how high to put the side boards. Should the side posts be made out of wood or metal? you may want to look in the "making a stovebolt bed" clinic further down the main page. Do a search and you should find the answers you are looking for. I think I've seen a book on one of the vendors website also, just not sure which one.
