I hired the pros to spray 2” of closed cell foam insulation on my shop ceiling. Should be around R13. The cost in my area is about $2.60 per sf for 2” thick.

OhYah, you're going to be GLAD you had that done. Not sure how much COLD weather you get, but I'm betting the foam insulation investment will be particularly nice this summer.

Only thing left to do now is get the heat and AC in place. That along with a nice old comfortable recliner, perhaps a big screen in the corner and a refrigerator for the occasional adult beverage while pondering a perplexing problem smile

I'm right there with you. I finally got heat in my shop and have about 6 more panels to install in the attic for storage and to make it easier to heat.
Just in time for the temps to get decent.
