Searched around and still not quite clear. Will the cab from a 53 bolt on a 54 frame? I know the bed area of the frame is different, but can you bolt the 53 bed on the 54 frame? Thanks!

My guess is that 53 bed can be bolted to the 54 frame, but I do not know if the 53 bed mounting blocks need to be used, and if the 53 rear fenders are closer to tires with/without the blocks.

I'm halfway there! | | | | | Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 106 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 106 | You would need to use the 53 bed blocks because the rear crossmember has a different height metal mounting area. You'll also need to use the 53 running board aprons as they are taller and match up to the 53 bed. The fenders will transfer over with no modifications.
