What treatment for the seam on the overhang above the windshield on my 55? Just never paid attention to that area before, now I have to if I'm going to do the body work myself. Leave it as is? Smooth it with Seam filler, Bondo???

Old school....Lead it in!

Just put some seam sealer in it. Do NOT put Bondo in it... just a neet bead of seam sealer, smooth it out with your finger and paint it.
Here's my drip rail with a fresh application of seam sealer just before primer. The picture is looking down on the driver side back corner.
You don't have to remove it if it's in good shape and you don't want to fill it right up so it's full of sealer... just enough to seal the pinch weld.

What I'm talking about is the lap joint just above the windshield where the roof is attached at the front of the truck. I'm 50 miles away from it or I would take a picture. It came to me in bare metal, so I don't know how it was finished before. Its under the roof overhang, do they typically just leave the lap joint showing? Was it blended in? Or are you trying to say treat it the same as a drip rail pinch weld?
