Do you folks have any experience with that 3m Dry Guide Coat cartridge? I am in the planning stage and was wanting to get some idea of the best things to try. I was planning to get a different color primer to us for a guide coat, I was not sure if the 3m product would be faster.
Also, Do you folks have any suggestions on a flexible sanding block? I was thinking that a 11 to 12 " would be just about right on the hood and doors of my 64. What are you all doing on that? If you can share the type and brand your using would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance... you guys are the best!

Love it, just rub a little on and you're good to go. I really like the Dura-Block sanding blocks. Buy one of their assortment kits and you should have about any block you should need for your project.

Do you think the 3M dry coat stuff would be simple enough an inexperienced person could use it with OK results? Oh, Do you think it would be cost effect to use that stuff or the traditional method on an entire truck?
I have a hard time guessing at how I should spray my sand-able primer so that I could use a guide coat methoid. I would think you would maybe get black sand-able primer then spray some grey on top of that, then you just about sand most of the grey back off..? I am guessing here... I never heard of a guide coat until someone here told me what it was.
