Rebuilt my master cylinder, had a tough time getting the second bolt off. It's way back in a channel of tubing, hard time getting much of a turn on a wrench, too tight for a socket and probably couldn't turn it enough to click.

Anyone have any tricks?

I got it back together, but the rear bolt (the most difficult to get to) is still loose enough that the whole master assembly rocks a little when I apply the brakes, worried that old bolt will eventually fatigue and leave me without brakes.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or information. After this is resolved, gotta get the headlights/brake lights working and then start on the paperwork trail. One step at a time.

Do the bolts go through the cylinder? I have used a ratcheting box wrench on mine, not sure if I am interpreting problem?

Ah, I guess it's just a slow and patience process. Just not much room to turn a wrench. But I'll get it.

Its easier to remove the four 3/8 bolts that attach the master cylinder bracket to the frame. Once removed, put the bracket in a vice and remove the two master cylinder to bracket bolts.

Thanks, I'll try that next time. I finally got it. Took a while.
