Had to pull my head (there will be more questions). The bolts got mixed up. Can any one tell me where the long bolts go? I would suggest using the diagram on http://devestechnet.com/Home/HeadTorque web page as a reference.

It is a 235 engine.

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it.

The simple way to double check things is to stand the head up on edge and slide the bolts into the holes - - - -when they're in the right place, all of them should stick out the bottom of the casting the same distance so the thread engagement into the block will be the same for all the bolts.

Jerry, when are you going to get around to writing "The Book According To Hotrod Lincoln"?
I am thinking about an entire book of quick hitting, short winded tips for those of us with attention difficulties who fall asleep when the the subject matter gets too wordy.
And whatever you do, don't forget to add your signature wit (including the kind of wit which some, all-to-often, take too seriously or personal)
