I have seen at a car show a car painted with a substance almost like diamonds in it. If you look at the paint the right way you will see a bright sparkle. It is not like metal flake.

I would like to use this on my truck

Can anybody help me identify this product.

Tom

I painted a pair of Camaro's using "Imron"
a product that was removed from the market because
of being so toxic...It had fine, medium, and course
flake in it and was very bright, especially in the
sunlight...There were several deaths because of
improper respirators.. Bill B

Dupont Imron is correct...Most know that most
all paint respirators allow a certain amount of
leakage, even though GM made it mandatory to have
all personal respirators fitted professionally they
still leaked...I have sprayed several airplanes and
boats plus many cars using Imron. I can say that it
was difficult to breathe for a couple of weeks, and
a double respirator was used at all times...As far as I know, Dupont had several lawsuits because of the deaths of 7 painters that had sprayed Imron.
