| | | Joined: Sep 2017 Posts: 36 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2017 Posts: 36 | It looks like the 56 and earlier clutch forks are different from the 57 and later. early being bent and later being straight . I am using a later bell housing and have a straight fork with it,. The plan is to change the motor and transmission as a unit so hopefully is a quick and simple swap from the 283 and 3 speed to a 350 and T5. So the question is will the straight fork work with the 56 linkage , or do I need to have a bent fork like what is in it now. Is a 56 3100

Engine, clutch and Transmission all bolted together outside.
