Not enough transactions for PM (danger ... danger), but the profile has email addresses. Keep personal buying/selling private.
TC, been sellin' these in the classifieds since 2007

Still available. However since there are so many variables with spring choices, spindles, brakes. The only true way to get a total cost is for you and I to discuss how you want the truck to drive, sit, etc.
PM me or send me an email (prefered). Tell me everything about the truck, driveline, where you want its stance, etc
As far as installation, its about 3 hours of tacking/welding. From there you have paint, the bolt-on bits, alignment etc,
Lowest cost is to get an S-10 donor - strip what you need and then part out the S10. Highest cost is billet a-arms, etc

I’m a new member. I would like to get in touch with Danforth to get one of these crossmembers for a 1952 that me and my son are building. Thanks Clint email clintraywalker@yahoo.com

Scott - Would be great if you could send me an email as well. New member so can't PM yet but also interested in information on your crossmember. Thanks.

For those that have done this IFS swap or full S10 frame swap, how did you address the anti-sway bar? It seems pretty far forward to be able to keep in stock form.
a full S-10 swap is too many compromises. especially running 2" spacers in front. to add a sway bar to a stock frame with my cross-member or to any vehicle, get a universal anti-roll bar kit from any of the race shops.
there is nothing that says a sway bar needs to be a funky bent piece of metal. or even that it has to be under the frame or have arms facing backwards.
as for the crossmember kit, still $475 for forum members plus shipping. Still made in the USA. Still welded and fabricated by a friend of mine's shop in Wisconsin to be central for shipping

Thanks for the link. Was wondering more if people just ditched the sway bar in place of something else. I'm in the learning/gathering phase right now so reading as much as I can.
I had purchased your cross member back in 2014 or 15, I am having some fitment issues with shock lengths. As many others, I do not have permission to access your profile to retrieve your email. Please PM or provide email so I can pick your brain.

He doesn’t check in often anymore. Maybe someone has a phone # for his business.

update᠁.. ordered Scott’s crossmember back in early July, received about a week later. It’s a nice piece. Just started installing about a month ago. Had to pull the truck apart. Just finished tacking frame stiffening plates on. Some pics

BigMike, I'm curious how did the crossmember turn out ? I couldn't find any other post or pictures. How is the steering, driving & turn radius ? Does anyone know if Scott is still selling the crossmembers ?

Scott, thanks for the reply. I have a 54 GMC 250 panel (1 ton) 137" WB. I've pondered for years over the "right" IFS to install,I want to keep it as close as possible to the original ride height. It came with 7.00-17 tires (31 5/8" OD),I'd like to use a modern radial of similar height on wheels with 5 on 5" BC. It will not be used to it's original load capacity, mainly just a driver. Could your crossmember be installed using tubular upper control arms & a spacer below the frame to achieve this ? What is the current cost of the crossmember ?
Ride height can be built in to wherever you want it to be. Track width is a little more difficult to adjust. Something Scott put a lot of thought in to before he offered his front end.
