I was working on the fuse box Sunday with a Dremel & a tiny wire wheel. It is cleaning up nicely and I'm going to paint the metal bits with an aluminum paint that will look something like the original plating. In the contact areas the plating was still mostly intact and I'll leave those clean and unpainted.
The fuse box & other parts have little clips that are tightened with a screw down on top of the fork from the harness. While holding one of these with a pair of needle nosed pliers the little wheel grabbed it and launched into orbit. I can get another one from the now discarded regulator but I think I would rather have a set of new plated ones. Looking on the Classic Parts site I saw nothing. Any ideas where I can get a small quantity of these?

It would be nice to post a picture. It's not difficult now. Is it this type of clip? I know this is a junction block but am trying to identify the "clips". Is it a combination fuse holder and screw terminal?
Also, don't use fork tongue wire end terminals unless you can't get the screw out. Use ring tongue terminals.

Not quite the same. The ones I'm wanting have a little tit sticking down into a hole for location rather than using the sides of the base. I believe GM would have used these on the regulator & other items as well. They will need replacing or refinishing to use them again.
I would LOVE to post pictures. I have a digital camera and shoot pics all the time. As I understand it this forum needs third party hosting which I baulked at. Is there another way?

The picture posting has changed. You can post directly from your picture files. Reduce the subject pics size to 300K or less and click on edit and then on "attachment manager" at lower left of the post. Easy. Outside Hosting can never be trusted again IMO.

Yes, the light switch, the Hi Bean switch and regulator should all use these little clips. We all need'em and I'll bet somebody sells them by the bag. I'm not sure what name to use searching for them

They serve no purpose whatsoever. Jettison them. Use ring tongue terminals on ends of wires and screw them on. The cover hides the "non original" fear. Problem solved and with a more secure, reliable, safe and modern termination..... BEEP......BEEP.....beep......### ##

Yes you can recycle some sheet copper from something and, with metal shears, cut and bend. But wanting an original piece inside a box does not compute in the Milky Way Galaxy.
Ring tongue terminals can not come loose. Forks can. Original does not apply. You better be building one of them Can'o'Coors d'elegance trucks if you are worried about correct terminal clamps.
