Canadian truck i can't seem to find info. On this number . US made doesn't seem to match up. Other 2 block numbers say it is a 1958 -1962 261. Green engine color. Behind the starter the last digit seems to be a 0. Without starter off i can't read the others. Can anyone tell me what year engine i have ? If you don't post those numbers here for us to check/verify then we really can't help you. The "C" means commercial (truck). Engine block green - carb rochester - blk # 3769717 head # 3836850 - engine # c-34265 - behind starter the last digit seems to be a 0 I will need to remove the starter to see more. Is it possible to know the exact build date of the engine? Or the year ? Should be a 59 - 62. 261. I would guess a Canadian truck. Thanks any info. Would be great. | | |
