Was the waist moulding on the 41-46 truck painted a complementary color out of the factory, was it an option or was it not painted at all?

My research indicated that the molding was painted a complementary color as an option. Unfortunately, my laptop hard drive crashed and I lost all of my "Bookmarks" or "Favorites" to back that up. Keith Hardy's Online Manuals site is a good place to start.

Jim Carter\'s catalog lists complementary colors available.

Brad\'s \'41 -\' 46 Chevys also has some great information including a page from the 1946 Commercial and Truck Colors Option No. 235 .

Hope this helps and let me know how you make out.
