Anyone else having issues waking their sleeping truck? My truck ran 3 years ago while working on the restoration. Now my son and I cannot get it to crank, turn on a light nothing. I have a usable battery and charger on it now to get some electricity into the circuits. My old Honda is that way waking little bit until all is working. Any ideas? Thanks Jay

Nothing is sleepy. You likely have corrosion. Rust never sleeps. Remove every connection, inspect, and clean wire terminal ends. Start at battery and move toward everything down stream.

That was the plan. Washington weather makes a mess of everything. That’s on tap for Sunday. Thanks Jay

52Carl has it, also, while at it, make sure both battery cables are large enough.

Did 71 still have a terminal next to the radiator where a wire from the positive side of the battery connected and another wire also hooked to it and fed into the fuse box? Might check that connection if it is there. My 69 had that, but not sure what year that stopped.
