Anyone know of an online source to download a manual for a 1966 C-60 Chevrolet Chassis (I have the school bus chassis specifically) I am going to be working on the braking system and having any kind of manuals would be of huge help........especially to read before I get to it. Most likely replacing the whole braking system from front to back so anything will be helpful. Not sure who reads this post, but I do have a couple of other posts recently active if you'd like to see those for more info.

After a little research it looks like the school bus cowl & chassis models were labeled as a B-series. Mine would therefore be a B-60, not a C-60 and not an S-60.

Please correct me if I am wrong. I think this will help me more with finding parts and other research.

see your other thread - you have an S62 or S64, check the Heritage Center 1964 truck resto pak, which has most of the specs you need

The paper manuals are available in reprint on ebay all the time. You'll need the 1963 Shop Manual as the "base" book and then the 1964, 1965 and 1966 Supplements as they have just the new items added that year. So, to cover all your bases you'll need all four books.

Thank you!! Just curious if any of this stuff is online for quicker reference?? With the tractors we restore, those forums have most manuals uploaded. I will definitely check them out on eBay!

Thank you bill! Very helpful. I did notice that in 1966 apparently Chevy called that series the B-series. That is where I got B from. Maybe I am wrong but I could have sworn I saw that online.
