I have a 54 235 with a Delco 1110090 distributor. The Acdelco D111 points i have are not fitting. The base plate is to long, so the screw holes won't line up. The motor is out of a car, if that matters any. I have a dead 1940 216 so I tried it's points and they are the same as the D111. Too long of a base plate. I'm having trouble finding any other/ correct points. I'm thinking it may be an older distributor 41-47. And I need the Delco C129 type. This is my first stove-bolt, please bare with me.

Do your points look like the images below?

Does your distributor have a part number or metal tag w/code? (post that info, if available)
