Hey Bolters,
Can someone tell me what color the horn button was on a 1946 Chevy 1/2 ton? Not sure if it was the same color as the steering column or the beige interior color.
Thanks.

Larry

I think it was zinc plated. Not chrome but plated. My center button was not painted.

I remembered to look at mine today when I was at the shop. Mine is painted the color of the column on the outside and brite zinc on the underneath.

The horn button, steering column and steering wheel in 1946 were brown.
