I just bought a sharpe HVLP gun and have a question. I have a little air pressure guage on it @ the air fitting to the gun. They reccomend I believe 40 to 50 psi @ the tip. Is that # that it should be when you are pulling the trigger or when there is no air flowing. I set it @ abou 50 on the guage but, when I pull the trigger it drops to about 20 . I think when his came in, we decided to break out that section in the Tech Tips just for "Painting your truck". We've got about four more good tech tips in the hopper now, and about 20 waiting to be done. That's what winter is for, right. Although today it's gonna be 70.
