Does anyone know of a website that shows the schematics on the window crank for the front window on a 46 Chevy?

Mine seems to be slipping when you crank it open and I noticed it would slam shut when a large gravel truck was driving the opposite direction. Is this normal or should the mechanism be replaced?

You might try chevy.tocmp.com...this guy has posted a number of service manuals for the older Chevys.
