I've searched the forums and read what's there, but was wondering if anyone has any pictures of installation of the foward cab cowl patch panels on the '41 - '46 series? I purchased both the inner and outer for both sides but since there was nothing left of the originals I need some help.

I replaced most of my lower cab on my 4t6. I made all of my panels. I took a lot of pictures. Don't know if they will help but have a look. Good luck.

Thanks for the link - it looks like you've done some fantanstic work there; I hope my turns out as well. The area I'm specifically referring to is displayed on your picture # 83 in your album. In addition to the two diagonal "foot pieces, for a better word) the lower panels behind and just forward of them are pretty much shot. I ordered inner and outer patch panels for the skin but have yet to even locate the description for the two 45 degree "foot rest" looking parts.

As far as I know they are not avaliable. I had some left of mine for a pattern and had a sheet metal shop make mine. I made the rest of the panels for my truck.

Ditto on Dad6x.....Have the inner pieces that I copied. Tack them in place

Jim Carter has the 41 - 46 panels and the 39 40 appear on ebay from time to time.

I purchased the panels (same as shown on your item 200030919304 eBay ad) from Jim Carter. I must sheepishly admit that I'm not doing the work myself although I should have put my own skills to work after what I've observed by body guy doing.

I sent you a few shots of the first attempt by my body shop. Not sure what they thought I purchased patch panels for. Can you tell me a name for the left and right diagonal (gussets)pieces that run from the toe board to floor board? I see them in the parts and maintenance books but no one seems to offer them for sale. I would have asked my body guy to have his welder to fab them but the welder has been fired.
