I believe an 8.20 x 15 is the same as a 275 60 15. My question is this, will those tires fit on my stock rims? They are quite a bit wider and am worried whether they would rub. '54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.

Absolutely not- - - -8.20-15's were standard tires for big Buicks, Cadillacs, etc. and they needed a much wider rim. That's also a bias ply designation, not a radial. The sidewall profile would be a lot higher on the 8.20, something like 78% of the tread width, instead of the 60% tread-to sidewall ratio of the 60 series radial. Jerry
