Hello all,

I'm getting ready to install a 4-link coil over rear suspension on my 55 Chevy pickup and the first thing it says is "Before removing the stock leaf springs, mark the frame and take a measurement as to where the stock axle centerline was." My problem is I have had the truck stripped down to just the chassis for quite a while, so I have no idea how to figure out axle centerline. I'm hoping some here can tell me how far it is from the end of the frame to centerline on a stock pickup. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Chris

Measure from backing plates, same place each side, center from frame rails.
