tclederman Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Jarvisburg, NC, USA	I think that JAD was the 1951 235 car engine built in Flint, MI (RPO-317 235 engine with hydraulic lifters) Tim 1954Advance-Design.com 1954 3106 Carryall Suburban 1954 3104 5-window pickup w/Hydra-Matic The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.

It is a low-pressure 235 engine with hydraulic lifters. It was only installed in Powerglide-equipped cars from 1950-1952/1953.
