It's tag reads 6BK09 2092. I read that to mean it was born in Oakland in Sept of 1942? It has a replacement engine from I think from a 1957 car. The transmission seems original and has marking on the side that reads 59147. It also has the reverse lockout "flipper" button. Is this a 3 speed or 4 speed. I haven't been able to find any pictures of the trannys but this has a fairly high shift tower and the flipper leads me to think its a 4 speed. Anyone one know off hand if the flipper was on the 3 speed also? Trying to attach pictures but I am a little slow in the computer world.

By the way, what is the shift pattern and where is reverse? I can only shift mine thru what I think is first and second. Where would reverse be?
