In the back fenders where does the third short fender brace locate? I see the hole on the back of the fender, where does it mount on the chassis? A picture would be helpful. Thank you in advance.

Not 100% sure about a Task Force, but on the AD's it goes from the back of the fender to the frame. On my one ton however, I modified that bracket to bolt to the box side. My reasoning is the bed and box will be flexing and moving ever so slightly more on the mourning pads compared to the frame. It could contribute to the common stress cracks if it was mounted solidly to the frame.

It mounts to the "side panel". There should be a hole for it. The brace angles upward from bottom of fender and slightly forward to side panel. I am looking at the Factory Assembly Manual Sec 11, sheet 19.

The carriage bolt goes through the ell brace that's tack welded on the inside of the bed side (running along at the floor). If you have new bed sides they didn't punch that hole. Take a look, you should have the hole square punched in the ell but not through the actual bed side...
