I think I can ask this question without it needing moved to the swap meet. If not....mods can do as they wish.

My 1951 3100 was sort of a "barn find" and came to me with 15 inch "locking ring" (forgive me if wrong terminology). I think someone here mentioned these were usually an option on GMC pickups, not so much Chevy. Anyway, I wanted to run radials, so found a set of correct 16 inch wheels and had them powder coated. They've been sitting in the back of my truck for a couple years, and just got tires mounted on them this past weekend.

Would the 15 inch locking ring wheels have some value to someone?

I'm sure most folks prefer the one piece. But perhaps someone who really wanted to do a very specific restoration? I don't see them very often (or at all). I could interpret that as rarity or as they all ended up in a scrap heap decades ago.

I'm going to leave this here for the time being. If it morphs into a for sale post I will then move it to the Swap Meet.
I believe there is some value to all these old parts. As you say, most ended up in the scrap yards.🛠

I'm glad someone asked this. I have 5 15" wheels form my 3600. Same type as described by JW51, only 8 lug. I have been debating scrapping or trying to offer them to someone who would need/want them. I will be watching this to see what the response is. If the interest is there I will post them to in the swap meet area.

Thanks, Martin. I'm honestly not trolling for a buyer. Just trying to gauge if they have any sort of value to anyone before I invest any time or effort into them.
