Well I painted some more last night. Got the hood,door panels, dash and some interior panels done. Boy I really like that tractor paint. Pics below.

I have been trying to follow these threads about tractor paint and for the life of me, I just can’t seem to put it all together, i.e., what you guys are talking about. Are you using tractor paint as a generic term, or is it paint your buying from Farm & Fleet, or Tractor Supply Company (TSC), or is this just a paint that you are buying from a local tractor supplier???
By the way Dan, that tractor paint, what ever it is, is looking really gooood! My truck was painted with a shot of primer and a coat of enamel from the factory and that’s just what I want to put back on it. I don’t want etching primers, epoxies, urethanes, clear coats, color sanding or any of the other oddities that are done for show cars. Just dip it, phosphate it, prime it and paint it, DONE!

Tractor paint was was bought from TSC. BPS was the name brand with Valspar hardener. Paint laid nice shot with a HLVP gun with 10PSI at the gun. I've used this paint prior for frames, trailers with good results. Main thing is preparation.
