1963 C20 cab on a 1972 C30 frame.
The first response I usually get is why in the hell do you want to do that! Haha!
I've got a 63 C20 I was going to make into a dually. I know it wouldn't have been a real 1 ton but it would do. I found a 1 ton frame frame with the intentions of using the suspension. It's only got 62,000 miles on it. But now I want run my cab on it. It's a 157" w/base which would make my raked out flat bed a bit more dramatic.
Registration won't be a problem where I live.
So what I've been able to find so far is it a fairly simple swap. Move the radiator mounts and maybe the front cab mounts. But I thought I'd still ask if anyone has any insite, tips, or suggestions here.
