It's the one that goes from wheel cylinder to wheel cylinder. Did I say it was on the rear? I believe it is on the right rear. It is made like a simi-circle with a 90 degree on each end. Looking for a friend of mine and we have looked everywhere. Any help out there? Thanks in advance. | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 28,674 Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) | Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 28,674 | That line will probably have to be made with a tubing bender and a double flaring tool. You might be able to do a little creative bending on a pre-made line close to the correct length and avoid having to do any flaring. Jerry

Lots of YouTube video on how to use it. | | | | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 378 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 378 | Thanks everyone, I figured we would have to make it. I bent one but didn't pay attention and it had the wrong fitting one one end, so I guess I'll have to do another one. Just looking for an easy out. I have the benders but have lost the adapters for the double flare. Hot Rod, I told my friend he would probably have to check with several parts houses until he found one with the correct fittings on each end and then I would put the bend in it for him. Oh well, it was worth a try. Thanks everyone. | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,189 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,189 | I think the thread pitch on the fittings for the interconnecting brake lines (line that goes between the wheel cylinders) is different and no longer available requiring you to reuse the old fittings. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong... Depending on how the nut fits into the wheel cylinder, that may or may not work. Good luck! Jerry

Looks good and doesn't leak. Thanks for all the help. | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | Time of celebration. A hot dog and cold Pepsi would go good about now and all while giving yourself a pat on the back. Glad it worked out. | | |
